Profile - Hussain Moosajee MBA (PIM-USJ), FCA (SL), ACMA, CGMA


Programs are presented by Hussain Moosajee, a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Management Accountant (UK), with a Masters Degree in Business Administration and several years of experience in the industry. He is also a certified trainer of the Expand Your Business (EYB) program, a program founded and initiated by the International Labour Organization (ILO).

Programs have been conducted for corporate institutions in the Financial, Distribution, Plantations, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Information Technology sectors, Not for Profit organizations, including the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, and start-up entrepreneurs..
He is also a lecturer in Accounting & Finance for Postgraduate and Undergraduate degree programs offered by universities and institutions.

Have received several accolades for knowledge sharing and value creation among participants of training programmers, and also academic sessions. This has sparked a need to venture into consulting, thus working hand in hand with ground level staff in the process of delivering value to the company. Have trained over 2000 individuals in a series of programs conducted, and lectured to over 2700 other students.
He was among a team of facilitators for the Effective Public Speaking program previously conducted by the Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS). A member of the Toastmasters community in Sri Lanka, an International organization involved in promoting Effective Communication and Leadership skills among its members. Have been a keynote speaker on several topics of interest at Speechcraft programmes conducted by Toastmasters clubs around the country.

A Past President of The Colombo Toastmasters, amongst many other previous positions held in voluntary service organizations, including the PIM Alumni Association. Have received an award for dedication and commitment from the membership for an outstanding year as President of The Colombo Toastmasters Club in the year 2011-2012. He also led the club to be the recipient of the Golden Gavel Award for the first time in the clubs history, from District 82 of Toastmasters International, and becoming a Presidents Distinguished Club for achieving outstanding success and club leadership. He was also the recipient of the prestigious PIM Achievers Award – 2004, by the PIM Professionals Association, awarded in recognition of service to business, society and the profession.
Represented Sri Lanka, as a part of the Group Study Exchange Team of the Rotary Foundation, touring the United Kingdom in 1997, and selected to participate in the International Board & Management Program sponsored by the Swedish International Cooperation Agency (SIDA) for members of SAARC countries, in December 2003.

A firm believer in Creative Development of individuals, Professionalism and Quality as his key values, his message to society is the words of Dr. Phil McGraw, an American psychologist, who said "Stop complaining about what you're not getting, and start creating what you want."
